ITB Problems?
Discipline: Run
Distance: about 6.5 miles
Time: 53:04
Shoes: 2100s
Av min/mile: 8:10
Hmm - wasn't sure whether to run or swim (or both) today, but decidd to get a run in. Planned a different route around the back of Nonsuch Park, which gave me some nice scenery, at least in the second half.
First mile my knee was nagging, but settled down well,m and it certainly felt a lot easier than the previous run where my legs were knackered within the first couple of miles and it was sheet grind that got me home. I even got to the end of Mulgrave Road in 7:20 - the fastest for ages!
Main problem today was the breathing, which seemed laboured, but then I have woken up with my voice nearly gone - so perhaps there's a lurgy lurking. Anyhow - harder work at the end, but nothing too bad. Legs feel okay afterwards, apart from the ITB area. Stopped several times to stretch them en route. Hope I can get that sorted.
