Now That's More Like It!

Time: 47:43
Av Mins/mile: 7:42
Shows: 2100s with sorbo heel raise


Same route as last 10k, but in reverse. Had a few niggles in the first mile and a half, but then re-tightened the laces which seemed to cure the problem other than minor niggles. Okay - I got out of breath, but my aerobic fitness isn't what it used to be!

A bit sore afterwards, but I get the feeling it won't be nearly as bad as after the last 10k which left me sore for several days after.

And the best bit? I managed to keep up the same pace as for four miles the other night, only this time it didn't feel quite as fast. But then again, I guess it wasn't a forty second per mile improvement per mile like the last run was! I guess I've got used to that speed

Legs aren't too bad this morning - no worse than might be expected after a hard run

back is a bit sore though :o(

BUT


What intensity are you doing all these runs at?

You shouldnt be pushing yourself all the time - IM trainng shoud be (75% of the time) below 75% MHR

Yeah - I know - going to do some lower rate stuff soon - just enjoying being able to run at this speed
