A Shorter Run

Distance: 4.3 miles
Time: 35:48
Av mins/mile: 8:20
I decided that the constant increasing mileage every run was a bit mad - I'd never normally do it, so decided to intersperse the longer runs with shorter ones. So - 4 miles today (although I got the route wrong hence the extra 0.3) and then another 6 mile plus one in a few days time.
My inner left knee twinged a lot - which was worrying - it seemed worse on the uphills.
Overall though, not a bad run - just wish I could stop the twingeing as it always makes me wonder if I should stop.
Not so sore the next morning as usual - I think I should be able to run again tomorrow night.

not being rude but are you sure it is twinging and not you worrying about it?
also.. why don't you slack off running every single day..? Start off alternate days and then increase..?

I'm only running once every four or five days max at the moment!
aahh but you blogged about running tomorrow too!!! So was to avoid getting into running every day!! (tried that - it hurt me ankles!)

Ah okay - makes sense now.
Got me tenses confoodled or whatever - ran Saturday, wrote the blog Sunday (but with the time set as Saturday), so run tomorrow meant Monday so with a day inbetween.
Was the "slack off running every single day" bit too - like I'd been doing it for ages!
