Juneathon Day 18

True to my word (well, sort of - I did say somethign about swimming) I stuck to the programme, thanks mainly to some nagging friendly encouragement from JogBlog. She really is a right royal pain in the arse tremendous motivator.

Anyway - decided on a short run today - my half mile loop, as I still had some study to do. I opted to play "Bath Water Chicken" today, for the first time in ages. For those who haven't played, it's a game of daring, where you turn on the bath taps ready for the post run deminging session and then leave them on while you run. How long do you dare stay out for? If you time it just right, the bath is all lovely and ready for you to leap straight into (having first undressed), but stay out too long and you flood the bathroom and possibly the flat below. It's a new extreme sport that for thrills and spills is comparable to bungee jumping or white water kayaking. Or tiddlywinks. You decide :-)

Anyway - used the 1120s or whatever they are, run felt okay, no probs at all, it's done and dusted, adn now to focus on study.

Hope Coach JogBlog is pleased with me :-)

You could jazz it up by putting a radio on a timer in the bath as well - see how long you can spend under the matey bubbles :-)

Good to see you out runnning.

Cheeky git ;-)

I don't think I'm brave enough to play Bath Water Chicken. My bath may fill up slowly but I'm even slower :-)
