I Wet My Pants :-(
Woke up today having recovered from yesterday's hangover and headed to the gym - woo! Was chuffed to see that I was back to having lost two pounds on Lardathon, despite Jogblog's attempt to sabotage it again by giving me an extra gram of muesli for breakfast yesterday ;-)
Anyway - Bodypump first, which was great, only it's a 45 minute class for all the mums who leave their kids in the creche - why can't they leave them for an hour FFS so we can have a full class. Then onto spin, which was with Mel as well, who is a dead good instructor. Not only does she know her stuff, but she's also motivational. She manages to sound dead strict so that when she says "Don't touch that dial" at the end of one track you really don't dare, but without ever being nasty about it! It's more like you don't want to let her down and stuff. Odd really, but it makes for some sweaty classes! Never seen so many sweaty women in one room!
Mel usually mixes the music up a bit, but today she pulled out the "Hard Rock Spin" CD from her CD case. She's used this before and I loved it, especially a jump track to AC/DC's "Whole Lotta Rosie". It rocked in every sense of the word, and I hope she didn't notice my air guitar as I had the towel draped oevr the handlebars.
Problem with all that sweating though is that my undercrackers get soaked, which is no problem really, except that I forgot to pack my usual change of underwear today, so I either had to come home in soggy knickers or go commando, which is what I opted for!
