Knee-tastic!

Distance: 2.83 miles
Time: 22.45
Shoes: 2100s - no heel raise
Surface: 17 minutes tarmac, 6 minutes grass

Wow! What a great run!

I felt uneasy setting out, as I was worried that soemthing might flare up. To be honest that's how I've felt for the last few months - worried that a run might end (or be followed by) a lot of soreness around the knee, and various niggles en route. But today was different!

Okay - I got a bit tired, and for a few seconds the top of my right hammy was sore, but overall I had nothing more than very very minor twinges, probably what should be expecte3d. In many ways, since I'd built up from nothing to 23 minutes in my new shoes in the space of two runs, I should have had more problems! In fact, a lot of the run felt really fluid, although slight uphills did some rather moreproblemmatic than I'd have liked, but maybe that was lack of aerobic fitness.

Iced like mad afterwards - the only bit even remotely sore was the medial right ankle, but that was very minor. We'll see what the next 24 hours bring!

Weight has gone down slightly, but I have a feeling I'm due another bigdrop, so I'll leave the official weigh in until tomorrow :o)
