Juneathon Day 4

When I got in tonight I have to say I felt seriously cream-crackered. I had some food, lay down on my bed, and then promptly fell asleep. Fortunately I woke up, as otherwise (gasp!) I'd not have done my exercise for today, and tbh it was only a nagging encouraging email from JogBlog that persuaded me to keep up the creed of the Juneathon!

Anyway - got to the gym with about 5 minutes to spare before they stopped letting people in, headed for the pool, had the pre-pool shower (essential just in case we've been covered in marmalade before swimming), and found that the boiler had broken and in spite of being on the red setting, the shower was icy cold! Woke me up anyway.

So - into the sauna. That's exercise isn't it? I even had to go and fill the water bucket up, what more do you want - blood? Ten minutes in the sauna, then into the pool for ten lengths, back to the sauna, and then ten more lengths and another ten minutes sauna and I felt pretty much cooked. One more cold shower and I headed home - feel a lot more chilled now and I think I'll sleep well rather than that uncomfortable "I've had a stressful day and am exhausted but can't relax enough to sleep properly" type one that I'd have had otherwise!
