Grrrrr...
Well - last time I posted I was knocking on the door of dropping to below 90kgs, not far off fourteen stone, and also getting my BMI in the 20-25 range for the first time in ages. I was hopeful!
Since then, I've swum twice (decent amounts too), plus had a very good day's trainign Friday. I got up, cycled to Surbiton (about seven or eight miles), ran seven miles with GymFreak (great to have company when running), and then pootled along behind on the bike while she ran a bit more. Then back on the bike to head home. Okay - I got a puncture half way, but it was the best part of two hours' worth of decent exercise. I haven't been stuffing my face either.
However - the weight has been creeping back on, and today stands at 91.4kgs. That's nearly three pounds on what it was last time! Okay - I did have rather a big lunch yesterday - a massive cod in batter, but it seriously wasn't that many calories, even with the chips! I'm going to put it down to water retention or something (why now - all of a sudden?). Perhaps I'm eating different stuff (have had more bread), and I have been a bit constipated lately, so I'm hoping that this is just a blip and the underlying body weight is actually dropping.
It does seem a bit of a trend - even my seven day moving average has gone up, which hasn't happened before in the three months or so that I've been trying to lose weight.
Still - I'm keeping going - running, Pilates and Body Pump today, so all the exercise combined with getting over this temporary hump will hopefully see me under 90kgs by the end of the week :oD
